LindaMarie Feder age 72, of Madelia, MN died on December 1, 2024, at Living Meadows at Luther in Madelia.


Services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church-Madelia, on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will take place at the church one hour prior to the funeral.


The clergy will be Ralph Flitter. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Madelia.


Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Madelia. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com.


On January 18, 1952 LindaMarie (Glaman) Feder was born to Calvin and DonnaJean Glaman. LindaMarie has one sibling, Barbara Ann who was a wonderful sister and they remained close all their life. Linda grew up as a farm girl. It was a good place to have fun and play with Barbara and her many cats. At fifteen years old, Linda became the church secretary for Faith Lutheran Church, Madelia as well as Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Butternut. As a high school student, Linda was active on the year book staff. As head Majorette, she lead the high school marching band. In her senior year, Linda starred in the class play, The Bad Seed.


LindaMarie married Tom Feder on November 4, 1972. They had two children, Tracy and Trent, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Linda was a stay at home mother, raising two wonderful children and helping with the grandchildren as well. Linda spent many years going to the cabin in northern Minnesota to spend quality time with family. Linda will be remembered for her big heart, kindness and gentle spirit. She was one who always cared for the underdog and loved to care for animals. She was a thoughtful person and never forgot a birthday or anniversary. She loved and cared for her family and will be dearly missed.


Linda is survived by her mother, DonnaJean Peterson; husband, Thomas Feder; daughter, Tracy (Osama) Salameh; son, Trent (Jennifer) Feder; grandchildren, Andrew, Austin, Hannah, Ramzi, Mazin & Adam Salameh, Krista (Chris) Castle; great-grandson, Louis Castle, and sister, Barbara (Bruce) Nelson. She is preceded in death by her father, Calvin Glaman.
