Linda Marie Ibberson

Linda Marie Ibberson age 68, of Sleepy Eye, MN, died on October 31, 2020 at her temporary residence in Minnetonka, MN. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the St. Mary's Catholic Church-Sleepy Eye. Covid 19 guidelines will be followed, including wearing masks and social distancing. Service will be held at the St. Mary's Catholic Church-Sleepy Eye, on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 10:30 am. The clergy will be Father Mark Steffl. Interment will be at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com. Linda Marie Ibberson was born on August 3, 1952 to Francis and Sharon (Weber) Ibberson in Sleepy Eye, MN. She attended school in Sleepy Eye. Linda worked at MRCI in Mankato and New Ulm, as well as Enterprise North in New Ulm. Linda was a very special person who loved to be around other people and the more people who joined the merrier. Her family meant everything to her, and she cherished spending time with them. Linda also enjoyed traveling with her parents, siblings, and with her group homes, going for car rides, playing bingo, going out to eat, and camping. She had a real love for animals and was a former volunteer with the Humane Society in New Ulm. Linda will be remembered as a caring, joyful, and loving person. Linda is survived by her siblings, Dean (Diane) Ibberson, Doug Ibberso, Cindy (John) Mages, Shelly (Pete) Schumacher and Todd Ibberson; aunts, Myrtyce Remus and Marcia Weber; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother Angie; and sister-in-law, Heidi Ibberson.
