Lillian Esther Maus

Lillian Esther (Sulflow) Maus, the daughter of Gustav and Emma (Kiester) Sulflow was born on February 16, 1923 in Willow Creek, MN. She was delivered on the family farm by her grandmother. She attended Willow Creek Schools. Lillian was united in marriage to Kenneth Benjamin Maus on July 13, 1940 in Estherville, IA. They farmed in the early years of their marriage. Later she went to work for Dr. Fast Dental Office, retiring in 1985. Kenneth and Lillian wintered in Arizona for 20 years. Lillian was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Madelia, and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling to Arizona, cooking, playing cards, golfing, crafting and fishing. Lillian is survived by her son, Thomas (Debra) Maus of North Mankato; sons-in-law, Bill Etter, Bill Osborne; 6 grandchildren, Greg (Kerry) Etter of Grafton, WI, Kyle (Deb) Etter of Lakeville, MN, Glenda (Todd) Arndt of Lewisville, MN, Kelly (Meagan) Osborne of Eden Prairie, MN, Jon Maus of St. Michael, MN, Ben (Dana) Maus of Mankato, MN; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, and sister, Sylvia Urban of Lewisville, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; daughters, Sandra Etter, Lynn Osborne; granddaughter, Elizabeth Maus; sisters, Doris Else, Florence Anderson; brothers, Clarence, Lorenz, Bert, and Wilton Sulflow, and infant sister, Loretta.
