Lillian Bertha Dick

Lillian Bertha Dick, age 76, of Mountain Lake died on July 1, 2023, at the Good Samaritan Society in Westbrook.

A memorial service will be held at the Community Bible Church in Mountain Lake, on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Home Cemetery in Sleepy Eye. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Mountain Lake.

Lillian was born June 19, 1947, to George and Iva (Ruby) Matzke in Windom. She graduated from Storden High School in 1965. She married Jessie Buley in 1966. Jessie died in 1997. In 2005, Lillian married Harold Dick at the Community Bible Church in Mountain Lake.

Lillian worked for the USDA as a federal food inspector for many years before retiring in 2007. In her free time, Lillian enjoyed all animals, especially her dogs, cruising on her side by side, eating at the Pizza Ranch, and fishing.

Lillian is survived by her husband, Harold; son, John (Juanita) Buley of Heron Lake; grandson, Jeorge Anthony Buley; stepchildren, Lenny (Marsha) Dick of Mountain Lake and Kim (Jason Guilfoyle) Dick of Mountain Lake; step grandson, Ezra Hughes; brothers, Lyle (Kathy) Matzke and Gary (Cresha) Matzke; and many nieces and nephews.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jessie Buley; and sisters, Joan (Larry) Tammeus and Helen (Kenny) Smith.
