Leroy Grosklags

LeRoy D. Grosklags was born August 13, 1931 in Fairfax, MN to Rudolph and Esther (Domke) Grosklags. He attended school in Fairfax graduating from Fairfax High School. In 1952 LeRoy enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in which he served until 1956. Following his honorable discharge he went to work as a Farm Machinery Salesman. LeRoy owned L L Sales in Mt. Lake from 1968 to 1984. In 1985 he went to work for Cunningham Implement (now Tri-County Implement) until his retirement in 2002. LeRoy was united in marriage to Lorie Michalko on April 2, 1960 in Black Duck, MN. LeRoy was a member of the St. James American Legion and enjoyed golf, traveling, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, and yard work. LeRoy is survived by his wife, Lorie Grosklags of St. James; three children, son, Todd Grosklags of Fridley, MN, daughter, Terri Thomas and husband Bruce of Rochester, MN, and son, Troy Grosklags and wife Dana of Grimes, IA; five grandchildren, Brittany, Louis, Nicholas, Spencer, and Austin; one sister, Carol Lauwagie and husband Stanley of Gibbon, MN; and one brother, Richard Grosklags and wife Darla of Prior Lake, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents.
