Leona A. Hahn was born January 22, 1918, in Clements, MN, the daughter of John and Agnes (Plotz) Neudecker. She graduated from Wabasso High School and was united in marriage to Donald Hahn in 1937 in Clements. Leona worked for many years in the retail business in Mankato. Following Donald's death in June of 1971, Leona continued to live and work in Mankato, then moved to Albuquerque, NM before becoming a resident at the Belle Plaine Lutheran Home in March of 2005. She was a former member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and St. Elizabeth Society - Catholic Aid. Leona enjoyed cross-stitch, ceramics, knitting and fishing. Leona A. Hahn died Monday, March 13, 2006, at the Belle Plaine Lutheran Home at the age of 88 years. Survivors include sons- Thomas of Ambler, PA, and Robert and wife Diane of Pharr, TX/LeCenter, MN; 6 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband- Donald; brother- Sylvester; and sisters- Martha Manderfeld and Lucille Kuelbs.
