Lenora Anna Tuberg

Lenora Anna (Zellmer) Tuberg was born on Feb 16,1925 to Robert and Anna (Raddatz) Zellmer in Pleasant Mound Township, Blue Earth County, MN. She was the eighth of nine children. Lenora was Baptized and Confirmed at Trinty Lutheran Church, Lewisville, MN. She attended Parochial Lutheran school and Truman Public school. She met her husband, Claude Tuberg at the annual Feather party in Lewisville. They were married at Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Lewisville in 1945 when Claude returned from the Army. Lenora was a farm wife for 56 years until her husband passed away in 2001. She then moved to Madelia and lived at Amberfield Apartments and most recently, at the Luther Memorial Home in Madelia, where she passed away peacefully on March 13,2018. Lenora loved getting visits from her children, grandchildren, friends and her nieces. She loved putting puzzles together, playing bingo, reading and going to church. Lenora is survived by her daughters, Joan (Darwin) Knaak of Lewisville, Nancy (Mike) Sohler of Lake Crystal; grandchildren, Wendy (Tom) O'leary, Jacqueline (Bradley) Vogt, Diane (Pat Groebner) Knaak, Carla Heir, Brenda (Shawn) Kunz; 15 great-grandchildren and brother, Edwin Zellmer of Braham, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Claude; grandson Nathan Sohler, brothers Friebert Zellmer, Alvin Zellmer; sisters Lillian Rosen, Alma Wester, Erna Tinker, Irene Holtslander, Doris Zellmer and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
