Lena Helena Dick was born on August 5, 1905 to Kornelia (Peters) and Isaac D. Schultz on a farm northeast of Mountain Lake. When she was about a year old she became sickly and was not expected to live. The Lord gave health and she grew up to become the oldest Minnesota resident. She attended German school, now Mountain Lake Christian School, country school, and also attended the public school for 1 1/2 years. After a few years she attended the Bible Training School, now Crown College, for 2 years graduating in 1927. She accepted Christ as her Savior during tent meetings held in the park in 1920. Rev.
