Leeann Simonson

LeeAnn Elizabeth Simonson was born June 25, 1955 in Springfield, MN to Donald and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Friedrich. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1973 and was united in marriage to Cleve Simonson on April 19, 1974 at Zion Lutheran Church in Springfield. While raising her family, LeeAnn studied and received her LPN license. She worked at the Springfield Hospital, then St. John Lutheran Home. LeeAnn and Cleve moved to Sanborn in April of 2014 where LeeAnn enjoyed her coffee group and feeding the birds. She enjoyed the holidays, decorating, cooking, nursing, and entertaining. LeeAnn also enjoyed watching the Vikings, her pets Maddie and Maggie, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church and the CCW. She is survived by husband Cleve; children- Christian and wife Jackie Simonson of Mankato and their children Dakodah and Chay, Nicole and husband Todd Harrington of Shoreview, and Sean and wife Laura Simonson of Northfield and their children Maren and Madison; brother Ron and wife Ellen Friedrich of New Ulm; and nieces and nephews.
