Lavonne Sveine

LaVonne Ellen Gravley was born May 10, 1940 in Belgrade, Minnesota, the daughter of Elmer Ella (Nelson) Gravley. She attended high school in Windom. On December 22, 1962, she was united in marriage to Cleon Sveine. The couple made their home in St. James where they raised their two daughters. LaVonne worked at several places including Watonwan County Courthouse where she did housekeeping. LaVonne was a social person she enjoyed visiting and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends. LaVonne is survived by her daughters; Lori (Charlie) Knaack of St. James, Tammie Sveine (Kent Olson) of St. James, siblings; Lorraine (Chuck) Boeggemann of Saratoga, CA, Dale (Linda) Gravley of Windom, Orville Gravley of Bingham Lake, Ray Gravley of Bingham Lake, Mark Gravley of Bingham Lake, grandchildren; Charlie Jr (Zayra) Knaack, Zach Sawatzky (Haley Nyberg), Jesse Knaack; great-grandchildren; Destiny Sawatzky, Danon Sawatzky, Myles Knaack, and one on the way; nephews and nieces, Jason (Sheryl) Nelson Elijah, Elizabeth (Aaron) Walklin Hunter and Kaylie,Troy (Patti) Gravley and family, Lane (Linda) Gravley and family Clay Gravley and family, Jason Gravley, Jill (Andy) Knapp and family, Suzanne (Marty) Barclay and family, Johnathon Boeggeman, Brian Boeggeman, Jeff (Beth) Cargill and family, Jordan Cargill (Cameron Berg) and family in-laws; Kenny (Fay) Jukulen of St. James and LeAnn (Danny) Patterson of St. James. She is preceded in death by her husband; Cleon, parents; Elmer Ella, brother; Donnie Gravley, in laws; Gordon Clara Sveine, Kay Kamish, Lynda Gravley, and a great-nephew; Nathaniel Nelson, and several cousins.
