Laurie Buesing

Laurie (Panzer) Buesing, age 55, of North Mankato formerly of St. James, died on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Mankato. Funeral services will be 11:00am, Monday, February 13, 2012, at First Lutheran Church in St. James with Rev. Ken Bowman officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. James. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Monday at the church. Laurie was born August 29, 1956, to Harold and Ardelle (Smith) Panzer. She was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church. She graduated in 1975 from St. James High School. On October 2, 1976, she was united in marriage to Vance Stuehrenberg and later divorced. On August 27, 1998, she married Richard Buesing. The couple have resided in North Mankato where Laurie worked as a cashier supervisor at Randalls and was a housewife. Laurie had an easy smile, lively chatter and a friend to all who met her. She is survived by her husband; Rick Buesing of N. Mankato, 2 children; Jennifer (Jamie) Connor of St. Peter, Jason Stuehrenberg of Mankato, grandchildren; Hadley Drew, her mother and step-father; Ardelle Panzer Floyd Wilkening of St. James, step-sisters; Lisa (Bill) Lozito, Amy (Tom) Pederson and Susan (Mark) Weibel, step-brother; Allan Wilkening, stepnieces, stepnephews and many special cousins. She is preceded in death by her father; Harold Panzer, brother David Panzer and her grandparents.
