Larry Roger Wollin

Larry Roger Wollin was born February 9, 1946, in Springfield, MN to Marvin and Louise (Lee) Wollin. He graduated from Waterloo, IA High School and then served with the U.S. Navy from 1964-68. Larry was united in marriage to Judie Krebs in 1970 in Springfield. To this union three children were born - Trish, Rick and Jesse. He worked for Carlson Construction from 1970-74, then worked for Vigorena for 34 years until retiring in 2008. After retirement, Larry worked part-time for Redwood Electric from 2008-17. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cards, dice, bean bags, and bowling. He especially liked spending time with family and friends watching the Vikings and Twins in his man cave. Larry Wollin died Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Sunwood Good Samaritan Home in Redwood Falls, MN at the age of 72. He is survived by wife Judie of Springfield; children- Trish Wollin and her son Dillon of Springfield, Rick (Sue) Wollin and their daughter Ashley of Redwood Falls, and Jesse Wollin of Minneapolis; granddaughter Kassie Maurer and family of Clements; brothers- Curt (Bonnie) Wollin, and Randy (Jodi) Wollin, both of Waterloo, IA; sister Pam (Jeff) Sauer of Waterloo, IA; sister-in-law Marlene (Carter) Charlson of Brooklyn Park; and brother-in-law Lenus (Terri) Krebs of Minot, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Louise Wollin; father-in-law and mother-in-law Marvin and Elda (Gentz) Krebs; brother-in-law Richard Krebs; and grandson Bradley Maurer.
