Larry Ravenberg

Larry Paul Ravenberg was born October 21, 1947 in Madison, SD, the son of Odin and Pearl (Barklow) Ravenberg. He was baptized and confirmed at Belview Lutheran Church in rural Howard, SD. Larry attended and graduated from Howard High School in Howard, SD. He entered and served in the U.S. Navy from 1967 until 1971. He then graduated from Dakota State in Madison, SD. Larry was united in marriage to LeAnn Kettner on August 17, 1974 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Springfield, MN. Larry worked in the Health Care Administration field for 30 years in South Dakota and Minnesota. He was a member of the American Legion, Rotary International, and Lions Club. Larry enjoyed hunting and was very proud of his family. Larry died on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at North Memorial Hospital at the age of 61 years. He is survived by his wife of 34 years - LeAnn Ravenberg of Morgan; children - Paul (Christie) Ravenberg of Sartell and Julie Ravenberg of Ely, MN; a grandchild - Katelyn Pearl Ravenberg; brother - Allen Ravenberg of Madison, SD and Rolland (Donna) Ravenberg of East Windsor, CT; and many nieces and nephews.
