Lamphone Naveunxay

Lamphone Naveunxay, age 63, of St. James died at his home on January 16, 2017. Funeral services will be 1pm, Friday, January 20, 2017 at Sturm Funeral Home in St. James. Visitation will begin at Noon on Friday at the funeral home. Lamphone was born in Laos on April 15, 1953. He joined the Laos Army when he was 18 years old and received an honorable discharge at age 26. He came to the US in 1986 with his wife and children. They lived in Tucson, AZ and later in several towns in Minnesota before St. James. He loved building his garden, watching sports, and loved the Minnesota Vikings. He loved to go kick his hacky sack and spin kicks in the morning. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and off roading. He is survived by his wife Khamphian of St. James, children; Keooudone, St. James, Daovone and Alvin, Lawton, OK, Khonesavahn and Jason of Lawton, OK, Lah and Donnie of Lawton, OK, Lance and Stephanie, El Paso, TX, Sandy, St. James, Jonathan, St. James, 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers and 2 sisters in Laos.
