LaDonna Mae Bishir was born June 8, 1934, in Highwater Township, Cottonwood County, the daughter of Edward and Mae (Klunder) Pauling. She was united in marriage to Dale Bishir on September 9, 1951, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Lamberton. The couple lived in Lamberton, Sioux Falls and Minneapolis before returning to Lamberton in 1989. They then moved to South Haven, MN in 1994, where LaDonna died peacefully at her home on May 3, 2006, at the age of 71 years. LaDonna was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lamberton and enjoyed fishing, playing the organ, piano and accordion, and riding truck with Dale cross-country for four years. Survivors include husband- Dale of South Haven; children- Terry and wife Ramona Jo Bishir of South Haven, Deanna and husband Steve Buboltz of Wyoming, MN, and Todd and wife Connie Bishir of South Haven; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; brother- Weber and wife Dorothy Pauling of Roseville, MN; and sister- Sandy and husband Phil Sharp of Ash Lake, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister and brother-in-law- Bonnie and Ray Johnson.
