Ladonna Baarson

LaDonna Baarson, age 52, of Windom, died on Friday, November 5, 2010, at the Windom Area Hospital in Windom. LaDonna Jane Baarson was born December 23, 1957, at the St. James Hospital in St. James, MN. She grew up in Odin and attended school in St. James. She was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church in Odin and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fairmont. LaDonna lived in Fairmont at the REM Heartland for many years where she thrived and worked. She enjoyed many wonderful years with her housemates at REM. LaDonna enjoyed the many trips she was able to take over the years visiting various parts of the Country. LaDonna loved people, she enjoyed visiting, and was so kind, easy going and caring person she loved to give hugs and receive hugs. Her love was Elvis, she loved him and the movies and music. She also like to watch wrestling on TV a trait she received from her parents. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Irene Baarson, grandparents, Oscar Jane Baarson and Leroy Ida Sexton, niece Twyla Snow and special friend Lori Nelson. LaDonna is survived by her brothers and sister, Larry Shirley Baarson of Lisbon, ND, Dianne Doug Westman of St. James, Dennis Geraldine Baarson of Battlecreek, MI, Al Laura Baarson of Castle Rock, CO, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and special friends Naomi Wee and Deb Krueger of Fairmont.
