Kevin Loewen

Kevin Jon Loewen, age 45, of Minneapolis, formerly of Mountain Lake, MN passed away peacefully at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis on July 23, 2014. Kevin was born on October 10, 1968 the son of Jon L. and Diane R. (Decker) Loewen. As a child growing up Kevin had many challenges to face due to physical limitations but he was almost always smiling. He was happiest spending time of the farm with grandpa and grandma Decker and his beloved uncle Alan. Kevin loved to meet new people and was ready with a joke or two to share with those he called friends. Survivors include his mother, Diane Loewen of Goessel, KS, sisters, Kari (Tom) Duncan of Mountain Lake, Darliss Simpson of Mattapoisette, MA, Sharleen (Russ) Francis of Goessel, KS, brother, Brent (Cassy) Loewen of Butterfield, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt, uncle and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, uncle and numerous other relatives.
