Kenneth Allen Paul was born April 12, 1950 at St. James, MN, the son of Leslie and Genevieve (Wolner) Paul. At age 3, Kenny contracted scarlet fever leaving him disabled. He, however, did not let that diminish his determination to be independent and to enjoy life. When he was 20 years old he moved to his own place where he lived independently. He was able to obtain a drivers license and in the late 1980's earned his GED. Ken enjoyed baking and cooking, collecting "things" like little owl figurines, Beatle's music, and plates. He enjoyed his daily gathering at the Band Box, swimming, puzzles and crafts. Kenny was always willing to try new things if they interested him. He is survived by his siblings; Dorothy Hoeft of Worthington, Dick and Marian Paul of St. James, Jack Paul of Madelia, Gloria Smith of Sioux City, IA, Dianne and Art Meyenburg of Jackson, Peggy and Mike Wiese of North Mankato, a special niece Marcia Dubois of St. James and other nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Eileen Jablinske, brother, David Paul, 2 brothers-in-law, Clair Hoeft and Bud Smith.
