Kenneth Herbert Anacker was born on July 20, 1931, on the family farm just north of Mountain Lake, Minnesota, he was the 10th child to Herbert and Martha (Walters) Anacker. Kenneth spent his life working the land he loved. His days were marked by hard work, deep faith, and an unwavering commitment to family - values that defined who he was and the legacy he left behind.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 69 years, Janyce, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership. He was also preceded by his parents, Herbert and Martha (Walters) Anacker, and his nine siblings: Gladys, Mabel, Evelyn, Leonard, Luverne, Walter, and Betty, and two in infancy.
Kenneth's greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his three children: Lynnae (Steve) Kunkel of Shorewood, MN, Lori Jacobsen of Crooks, SD, and Kent (Kim) Anacker of Mountain Lake, MN. He was a beloved grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and is also survived by his brother-in-law, John (Carol) Schultz of Jackson, MN.
Carrying their grandfather with love and honor, Kenneth's urn bearers will be his 11 grandchildren: Tim (Maggie) Kunkel, Jess (Michael) Todd, Ricky (Jahna) Jacobsen, Russ Jacobsen, Rheann Jacobsen, McKinley DeVries, Chase Anacker, and Keara Anacker.
Kenneth will be remembered for his strength, kindness, sense of humor, and the love he shared with all who were fortunate enough to know him. His memory will live on in the fields he tended, the family he raised, and the many lives he touched.
