Kenith Larsen

Kenith C. Larsen, the son of Peter C. and Elizabeth (Bertilsen) Larsen was born on June 27, 1915, at St. James, MN. He received his education in St. James and graduated from the St. James High School in 1933. On July 17, 1942, Kenith was united in marriage to Dorna Jean Zabroski in St. James. Kenith enlisted in the United States Army in 1941 and retiered in 1975, after serving in both WW II and the Korean War. His greatest educational accomplishment was graduating from USAR School Command and General Staff Course at Fort Leavenworth in 1962. Kenith retired with the rank of Lt. Colonel. Kenith C. Larsen died on Saturday, December 3, 2005, at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Luverne, MN. Kenith is survived by his wife, Dorna Larsen of St. James, MN; two sons, Kenith Larsen Jr. and his wife Joyce of Chaska, MN, and Peter Larsen of Robbinsdale, MN; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Irene Wilson of Carson City, NV; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jon Michael Larsen; a daughter, Heidi Sue Larsen; and two brothers, Loyd Larsen and Peter Larsen.
