Kendra Lynn Plath

Kendra Lynn Plath, 64, of Saint James, died on March 8, 2025, at her home.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sturm Funeral Home in Saint James. Private interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Saint James at a later date. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Saint James. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com.

Kendra was born July 4, 1960, to Robert and Janet (Larson) Plath in Saint James. She graduated from Saint James High School in 1978 and continued her education at the University of Minnesota in Waseca. Kendra worked as a custodial manager at Smithfield in Saint James for 37 years.

In her free time, Kendra enjoyed watching Asian dramas, listening to K-pop music, learning new languages, reading Daniel Steele novels, and remodeling her home. Her family meant everything to Kendra. She loved her children and absolutely adored her grandchildren. She will be missed by many.

Kendra is survived by her children, Andrew Farr of Saint James, Melissa (Bobby) Farr of Saint James, and Ashlee (Spenser) Barton of Saint Paul; grandchildren, Adrian Rodriguez, Kristina Murilla, and Thorin Barton; and sister, Karla (David) Hoelmer.

Kendra was preceded in death by her parents.
