Keith Orlin Allison, the son of Lyle and Maeta (Larsen) Allison, was born on March 30, 1951, in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. He attended school and graduated from Sleepy Eye Public School in 1969. He earned an associate of arts degree from Worthington Junior College and attended South Dakota State University. On June 9, 1973, Keith married his high school sweetheart, Tamara Wellnitz at Faith United Methodist Church in Sleepy Eye. Keith and Tamara raised their family on the family farm near Evan, Minnesota.

Keith worked hard to support his family and in addition to farming, he worked at Del Monte, hauled gravel, and was a wood worker. He had many hobbies, was a collector of many things, and enjoyed watching cartoons. He sang in many country western bands, particularly enjoying old country music. He was a member of CampMor Kilties and played the bagpipes for many years. Keith had a keen interest in the Civil War, was a member of the New Ulm Battery for 28 years, loved black powder shooting, and belonged to Friends of Fort Ridgley. He loved to fix things and even when something was brand new, he had to change it and make it better. He was always there to lend a hand. Spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, meant the most to him. He loved his family and friends dearly.

Keith is survived by his wife, Tamara Allison of Sleepy Eye; children, Tara (Scott) Agre of Sacred Heart and James Allison of Redwood Falls; grandchildren, Eliza Agre, Erick Agre, and Lydia Agre; and other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Maeta Allison and his daughter, Katherine Allison.
