Kathleen Eleanor Wenisch

Kathleen Eleanor Wenisch was born to Al and Irene (Eckstein) Sellner on November 17, 1941, in Brown County, MN.  On November 4, 1959, Kathleen married Kenneth Wenisch at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye.  Kathleen was an active farm wife with Ken as they farmed in Brookville Township.  She was a member of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church.  Kathleen enjoyed her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She enjoyed playing cards, going to Jackpot, and going out to coffee and meals with friends.

Kathleen died on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Valley View Manor in Lamberton, MN, at the age of 81.

She is survived by her children Thomas (Joan) Wenisch of Longville, Kevin Wenisch (Sharon Sehr) of Springfield, Janice (Tim) Schwanke of Springfield, and Paul (DeeDee) Wenisch of Morton; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, sister Alice Pietz, and step-sister Marlys Zupfer.  Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth, grandson Patrick Wenisch, and brother-in-law Jim Pietz.
