Justin William Lemcke was born on May 31, 1976, to Curtis and Sonya (Anderson) Lemcke in Marshall, MN. He attended RTR High School and made his home in Lamberton, MN alongside his beloved wife and best friend, Sue (Raitz) and their dog Ruger. Justin and Sue were married on June 18, 2024, in her parent's backyard. Justin was employed at Sanborn Manufacturing as a Welding Leadperson in Springfield for 5 years.
Justin was an active member of the Beaver Creek Archery Club and the RC Sinister Brethren Motorcycle Club of Tracy, MN. He had a deep love for the outdoors, enjoyed hunting and fishing with his wife, Sue, kids, grandkids, and his dog Ruger, and riding his Harley. He also found joy in demolition derbies, enduro racing, and target shooting. A talented cook and baker, Justin was delighted in preparing meals, spending time with his grandchildren and sharing laughter with his family. He especially loved critiquing everyone else's cooking - always with a mix of honesty, humor, and love. Known for his playful spirit, Justin was often found his dinosaur pajamas, "Rawring" at those dearest to him.
After a courageous 10-month battle with Pancreatic Cancer, Justin passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 31, 2025, surrounded by his wife and family.
Justin is survived by his wife, Sue (Raitz) Lemcke and his fur child, Ruger; his children - Dominic (Destiny) Lemcke, Allison Lemcke, Joshua (Kerista) Lemcke and Landon (Lemcke) Simonsen. He is also survived by his grandchildren - Greyson, Addilyn, Emmett Lemcke and another on the way in February being named after Justin - Holden William. Others cherishing his memory include his dad and step mom - Curtis and Denise Lemcke; in-laws - Keith and Betty Raitz; sisters - Tori (Chris) Geisler, Tabi (Tom) Penn, and Tonia Carpenter; step-brother - Lucus Boese; sisters-in-law - Ann (Duane) Swanson, Tia (Kevin) Ziesmer, and Dru Raitz; brother-in-law - Justin (Amanda) Raitz; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother - Sonya (Anderson) Lemcke, sister - Megan (Lemcke) Borstad, and his grandparents.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm at the Lamberton Legion in Lamberton, MN. There will be a prayer service at 2:30 during the visitation.
In honor of Justin, family and friends are encouraged to wear purple, camouflage, or Justin's cancer awareness shirt at his service
Above all, Justin will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and friends and how he would say "Rawr", which means "I Love You" in dinosaur.
