June Marie (Ellanson) Morgan, age 86, of Madelia, MN died on July 18, 2025, at The Beacon in Lake Crystal, MN.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 1:00pm at the Linden Lutheran Church Cemetery, in rural Hanska, MN. A reception will be held at the Linden Lutheran Church, immediately following the interment.

June Marie (Ellanson) Morgan was born April 29th, 1939 on the Vee family farm in Hanska, MN to Hans and Jeanette (Vee) Elllanson. June was the Eldest daughter of 9 children. She went to District 7 country school until the 8th grade. June married Dale Chute, Sr. in 1957 and the couple had 8 children.

June is survived by her children, Theresa Eagle Tyon of St. James, Brenda Schultz of New Ulm, Julie Chute of New Ulm, Randy Chute of Darfur, Dale Chute, Jr. of Sleepy Eye, Tina Brumley of Ringsted, IA; brothers, Ted Ellanson of Madelia, Allen Ellanson of St. James; sister, Vicki Larson of St. James; aunt, Beatrice (Bob) Swingler of St. James; uncle, Harlan Vee of Minneapolis; sister-in-law, Debbie Rusten of Madelia; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

June is preceded in death by her parents, Hans & Jeanette Ellanson; sisters, Cindy (Eddie) Rathman, Judy (Robert) Murilla; brothers, Gordon (Connie) Ellanson, Kelly Ellanson, Eugene Rusten; son, Robert Chute; daughter, Deborah Chute; brother-in-law, Duane Larson; son-in-law, Mark Brumley; nephews, Theodore Ellanson, Jr., Michael Larson; great-nephew, Russell Birr and great-grandsons, Nikolas Trebesch and Bryson Palmquist.
