Julie Panitzke

Julie Ann Panitzke was born December 21, 1949 in Springfield, MN to Lester and Donna (Sweeley) Imker. She graduated from Lamberton High School in 1967 and was united in marriage to Jerry Panitzke on January 29, 1969 in Sanborn. Julie thoroughly enjoyed her work as a seamstress for over 20 years. She then joined her husband in their antique business where they worked side-by-side since 1996. Julie enjoyed gardening, sewing, camping, traveling, riding her Harley and her Cushman scooter, and watching the sunrises with her coffee. She especially enjoyed spending time with her sons and their families. Julie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Sanborn. Julie Panitzke died Friday, July 19, 2013 at Seasons Hospice in Redwood Falls at the age of 63 years. She is survived by husband Jerry of Springfield; sons- Jeff and wife Cheri of Glenwood, and Jon and wife Heather of St. Cloud; grandchildren- Caden, Makena, and Alex; brothers- Lester 'Joe' (Brenda) Imker of Ellendale, Dick (Judy) Imker of Cambridge, Jim (Sue) Imker of Lamberton, and Ardie (Jackie) Imker of Lamberton; and nieces and nephews.
