Joyce M. Zamzow

Joyce Marion Zamzow was born on October 29, 1927 in Springfield, MN to John and Mayme (Coulter) Thorston. She attended country school in Sundown Township and graduated from Springfield High School. Joyce married Oliver Zamzow on May 8, 1953 at Sundown Lutheran Church. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye. Joyce's hobbies included knitting, sewing, crocheting and shopping and cooking with her daughters. Joyce especially enjoyed being with her family. She is survived by her husband, Oliver "Jim" Zamzow of Sleepy Eye, daughters, Leann Zamzow, Jeanette Zamzow and Lois Zamzow, all of Sleepy Eye and brother, Leonard Thorston of St. Paul, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, James Thorston, Lloyd Thorston, Frances Castle, Ethel Bierbbr and Alice Cappenter.
