Joseph Warren Mcgonigal

Joseph McGonigal age 54, of Sanborn, Minnesota died on December 13, 2022, at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Joseph “Joe” McGonigal was born January 18, 1968, in Kingman, Arizona to Roger L. and Sherrie (Javine) McGonigal. After graduating from high school Joe joined the US Army and served proudly.

Joe embraced life and his family and friends were very important to him. Joe was always willing to work on a car or watch a good car race, especially NASCAR races! Joe’s hobbies included building model cars, working with Legos and finishing a hard puzzle.

Joe was always ready and willing to take that next adventure and travel to see new sites; and it didn’t matter much if the places visited were sandy beaches or the highest mountains.

It was December 11, 2019, when Joe recommitted his love to his beloved wife, Ruth.

Joe is survived by his loving wife, Ruth; children Amber McGonigal, Elizabeth McGonigal, Amanda (Jake) Germain CJ McGonigal, Zach McGonigal; grandchildren, Dakota Gayder, Liam and Leland Germain; father, R. Lee McGonigal; Brothers, Bill & Daniel McGonigal; Sister Ruthanna McGonigal; and other loving relatives and friends.

Joe is preceded in death by his mother Sherrie Jo Javine; grandfather, Howard Raymond McGonigal; grandmother, Verna Kurtz.

Military rites will be provided by the Colburn American Legion Post #286
