Jerome "Jerry" Ramsbacher

Private services will be held for Jerry.

Jerome (Jerry) Lynford Ramsbacher was born June 9, 1942, to Ambrose and Evelyn (Pederson) Ramsbacher at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, MN.  He graduated from Sanborn Public High School.  Jerry lived his entire life on the farm which was both his life and his hobby.  In addition to farming, he had an extended tenure at Sanborn Manufacturing Company and held multiple positions there.  Jerry also had a passion to be on the road and turned that passion into Ramsbacher Trucking and drove for 20 years. On November 4, 1961, Jerry was united in marriage to Rose “Shorty” Woolley at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lamberton.  Jerry was a member of St. Mathias Catholic Church and served on the parish council and was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Jerry died on February 25, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family, at the age of 80.

He is survived by his wife Rose “Shorty” Ramsbacher; children - Terry Ramsbacher, Kim Sellner (Dan Wenninger), and Dan Ramsbacher (Milissa); 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers - Loren and Curt, and granddaughter Brandy Sellner.
