Jeanette Johnson

Jeanette Florence Johnson, daughter of Michael and Magdaline (Becker) de Graaff was born May 10, 1921 in Delhi, MN. She attended Delhi and Redwood Falls public schools and graduated from Renville Public School. On October 15, 1940 Jeanette was united in marriage to Herbert Johnson. Following their marriage they lived in several places and finally in Mankato, MN. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Jeanette's enjoyments in life were being a homemaker, visiting friends and family and tending to the flowers and yard by her house. Family meant everything to Jeanette and she especially enjoyed sending cards and buying gifts for family and friends. She loved children and St. John GrandKids were such a joy to her. Jeanette was an animal lover, especially her dogs - Caesar and Major. Jeanette Johnson, 89, died September 20, 2010 at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN. Jeanette is survived by her sister - Mary Anton of Olivia and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband - Herbert in 1993, sisters - Alice Whittet, Magdaline Larsen and Dorothy Tisue. Blessed by her memory.
