There will be a Christian Mothers Rosary at 5pm and a Parish Prayer service at 7pm, both Thursday at the funeral home. Jeannette was born on May 22, 1918 in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of John L. and Theresa B. (Haider) Kosak. She moved with her family at an early age to Currie and attended country school near Currie. On November 26, 1935 she married Ralph De Blieck in Currie. The couple made their home in Sleepy Eye. Jan worked for Del Monte, the Orchid Inn, and was a clerk at the Rexall Drug Store for many years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was a Christian Mother. Jan enjoyed playing cards, was a league bowler, and crocheted afghans. 89 year old Jeanette "Jan" DeBlieck of Sleepy Eye died Sunday, December 09, 2007 at the Sleepy Eye Medical Center. She is survived by her children - Ardyce (William) Little of Woodbridge, VA, Diane De Blieck of St. Paul, Mary De Blieck of Sleepy Eye, and Richard De Blieck of Bloomington; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a brother - Patrick Kosak of St. Louis Park; and sisters - Leona Peterson of Tracy and Bette Skyberg of Roseville. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband - Ralph; twin sons - John and Joseph; and a son - Raymond Charlie De Blieck.
