Jean Schwab

Jean Marie Schwab was born on April 10, 1952 in New Ulm, MN, the daughter of Dennis F. Delores (Suess) Guldan. She attended St. Mary's Grade School and High School graduating in 1970. Jean married Shelley J. Schwab on November 12, 1971 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. She enjoyed working at Rivervine in New Ulm and selling Avon, but her most loved job was being a mom and grandma. Jean was a member of the Christian Mothers, CCW and prayed Adoration. She enjoyed volunteering at school, church and in the community. She also loved baking, shopping and visiting with friends. Jean lived her life for the happiness of others and loved being with her family. She is survived by her husband, Shelley Schwab of Sleepy Eye, children, Jenny (Mike) Minelli of Pleasantville, NY, Marnee (Kevin) Currans of Sleepy Eye, Melanie (Steve) Schmidt of Minneapolis, Jared Schwab of Sleepy Eye, Misty Schwab of Moorhead, grandchildren, Jack, Madeline Max Minelli, Carter, Emma, Caroline, Elizabeth Clara Currans, Landon Schmidt, mother, Delores Guldan of Sleepy Eye, siblings, Judy (Terry) Anderson of Ames, IA, Mike (Ann) Guldan of New Ulm, Jim (Brenda) Guldan of New Ulm, Steve (Ana Martha) Guldan of Alcalde, NM, Denny (Janice) Guldan of New Ulm, Tom (Bonnie) Guldan of Sleepy Eye, Jon (Julie) Guldan of St. Joseph, MO, 33 nieces nephews, brother sisters-in-law, Barbara (Doug) Aikin of St. Louis, MO, Deb (Tom) Seitzer of LeSueur, Doug (Maggie) Schwab of New Ulm and Paula (Marlin) Huiras of New Ulm. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis F. Guldan, infant daughter, brothers-in-law, Erik Phillips, Keith Roberts and Robert Schwab, sister-in-law, Mary Schwab, mother father-in-law, Cletus Mae Schwab and grandparents.
