Jazlyn E. Spidahl

Jazlyn Elaine Spidahl, age 13, of Madelia, Minnesota died on February 7, 2023, at Madelia Health - Hospital.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church-Madelia and will continue on Monday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the church.

Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church-Madelia, on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 11:00 am.

The clergy will be Rev. Penny Johnson. Interment will be at a later date.

Jazlyn Elaine Spidahl, daughter of Cassandra Spidahl and Lance Frederickson was born on October 13, 2009 in New Ulm, MN. She is the oldest of her siblings, Kendra, Serena, Olivia, Aiden, Danillie, and Reed. She attended Madelia High School where she was completing her 7th year of school as an honor student. Jazlyn was a sweet, spunky and loving girl. She loved going on adventures and finding new things to do. Her hobbies included singing, dancing, playing her guitar, swimming, cooking, and spending time with her family. Jazlyn also loved caring for her dog, Nala aka Jazlyn’s baby girl.

Jazlyn is survived by her mom, Cassandra; her dad, Lance Frederickson; her siblings, Kendra, Serena, Olivia, Aiden, Danillie and Reed; grandparents, Ruth and Doug Frederickson, Ron Spidahl, and Dianne Reed, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her uncle, Tommy Timm; great-grandparents, Bud and Julie Spidahl, Earl and Elaine Reed, Howard and Lucille Frederickson and Alma and Orval Buffington.
