Jared Willaby

Jared Henry Willaby was born August 23, 1974, in Springfield, MN the son of Henry and Cheryl (Willemssen) Willaby. He graduated from Springfield High School and worked at Norwood for 15 years. Jared then worked at Schoffman's in Redwood Falls as a Service Technician for 3 years. He was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church in Comfrey, the Cattleman's Association, and was a former member of the FFA. Jared was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to tinker with anything. He will always be remembered for his smile and his willingness to help his friends and neighbors. Jared Henry Willaby died Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at his home in rural Springfield after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by parents- Henry and Cheryl Willaby of Springfield; and sisters- Jessica and husband Frank Balak of Mankato, and Jennifer Willaby of Mankato. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents- Henry and Olga Willaby; maternal grandparents- Harold and Carol Willemssen; and many aunts, uncles, and family members.
