Janet Thomas

Janet Carol Kielblock was born in Fairmont, MN, on January 24, 1952, the daughter of Fred and Delores (Scheppman) Kielblock. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fairmont. During her junior year of high school, she won 2nd place at State Booking Proficiency in St. Paul. That led to her getting a job at Chevy Motor Inn and First National Bank where she continued to work after graduation in 1970. On August 19, 1972, Janet was united in marriage to Wayne Thomas. The couple had two children, Allen and Kelly. Janet worked at S-T Industries for 43 years before her retirement, she also worked at the St. James Liquor Store for 10 years before her health forced her to retire from there also. Janet enjoyed being part of her children's and grand children's activities and adventures. They enjoyed water skiing, camping, fishing and most outdoor activities. Janet is survived by her husband Wayne Thomas, son Allen (Rene) Thomas, daughter Kelly (Cory) Lorenz, 4 grandchildren: Macy, Caleb, Alayna and Kyla; brother Jerry (Renee) Kielblock and sister in law Bonnie Hunter.
