Janet M. Roalson

Janet M. (Grams) Roalson was born to Carl Francis and Marie Ann Grams on September 14, 1946 in Mankato, MN.. She grew up in St. Clair, MN and was a graduate of St. Clair High School in 1964. She then moved to the Madelia area where she met Larry Roalson. The couple were married on August 3, 1968 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Madelia. Janet worked for Tony Downs Foods for 33 years, retiring in 2012. She spent much of her free time in her retirement tending to her flower gardens and taking care of the lawn. She also was skilled in numerous crafting mediums and enjoyed painting in the winter months. Janet will be remembered for her kind spirit and loving dedication to her family. Janet M. Roalson, age 75, of Madelia, MN, died on December 3, 2021, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN. Janet is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry Roalson; daughter, Cindy Roalson; son, Monty Roalson; daughter-in-law, Silvia Roalson; granddaughters, Annette Garcia and Alejandra Roalson; brothers, Tom (Pat) Grams, John (Jeanne) Grams; sisters, Carol Kruse, Joyce (Tim) Casey; brother-in-law, Jim Mauer; sister-in-law Sherlene Tindall along with special family friend, Jorge Garibay. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Audrey Maurer; brothers-in-law Walter Tindall and David Kruse.
