Janet Becker, age 76, passed in peace surrounded by loved ones on Friday, February 8, 2013 at Luther Memorial Home in Madelia. Born on January 18, 1937, in St. James, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Henry and Veronica (Stelzer) Coners. She grew up and attended school in Madelia. Janet married Darrell (Buzzy) Becker on April 2, 1955. They resided in Madelia, MN where she worked at House of Print and Kraft. Janet did Day Care and Foster Care in their home for 29 years during which she touched many lives. She was a member of Madelia Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, cooking, family, friends and spending time with her grandchildren. Janet is survived by her husband, Darrell (Buzzy) Becker; son, Scott Becker; grandchildren, Dawn (Ken) Skluzacek, Denise (Rick) Nisle and Amanda Becker, Jesika Watton (Mike), Max, Jamie, Katie and Hope Becker, Zach and Shyla Becker; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Jim (Brenda) Coners and very special friends, Sue Brand, Nancy and Jerica Hiller. She will be joining her two sons, Mark and Todd Becker; two brothers, Melvin and Leroy Coners; one sister,Margola Oltjenbruns; and her parents in Heaven.
