Jan Mohlenbrock

Rosary scheduled at 4pm. Janice Mae Heiling was born on February 20, 1939, at Morgan, MN, to parents Alois and Evelyn (Heiderscheidt) Heiling. She grew up, was baptized, confirmed, and took her first communion at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Morgan. On September 10, 1957, Jan was united in marriage to George Mohlenbrock, Jr. at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Morgan. The couple lived in various places before making their home on a farm just outside of Butterfield until 1992 when they moved to town. Jan had worked at Butterfield Produce, Green Giant, Butterfield Foods and ST Industries before her retirement in 2004. Jan and her sister Jeanie enjoyed singing together and entertaining the elderly. She loved spending time with her family, attending grandchildren's sporting events, summers at the lake, watching sporting events on tv and playing cards for hours. She was an active member of St. James Catholic Church where she taught RCIA classes. Jan also enjoyed writing letters to family and friends. Jan will be missed and always remembered for her laughter. She was a joy to everyone who met her. She is preceded in death by her husband George Mohlenbrock, Jr., parents Alois and Evelyn Heiling, infant daughter Cheryl and son Doug. She is survived by her children Kim (Dean) Lewis of Lewisville, Jana (Todd) Kaehler of Butterfield, Brad (Michelle) Mohlenbrock of St. James, Bryan (Angie) Mohlenbrock of Kirtland, NM, 11 grandchildren, brothers and sisters Jeanie Gareis of New Ulm, Jim Heiling of Cobdin, Jack (Barb) Heiling of Morgan, Joe (Deb) Heiling of Morgan, Judy (Jerry) Hurias of Morgan, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
