James Pietsch

Hope Cemetery in St. James James Pietsch, age 70, of St. James, died on February 8, 2008 at Pleasant View Good Samaritan Center in St. James. James Franklin Pietsch was born November 1, 1937 in St. James, MN, to parents Frank and Anna (Helmer) Pietsch. Jim grew up in several rural Watonwan County communities. In 1969, he moved to St. James where he gradutaed from high school. Following high school Jim went to work at Butterfield Foods where he worked for several years. He then went to work for Tony Downs Foods where he retired in 2000. He enjoyed watching TV, football and baseball. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Survivors include several nephews and nieces.
