James "Jim' Mcmoran

James "Jim" McMoran age 69, passed away peacefully at his home in Lamberton, MN on December 26, 2024 surrounded by his family.

James "Jim" Allen McMoran was born on April 5, 1955 the son of Myron "Mac" and Lois (Bancroft) McMoran in Jackson, Minnesota. Jim resided in southern Minnesota his entire life including Jackson, Worthington, Redwood Falls and Lamberton. After 20 years, he retired as a supervising engineer at Central - Bi. Jim loved the outdoors - fishing, photographing wildlife, raising monarch butterflies and gardening. His greatest love was wood working - building furniture, his home and even his own urn. Jim was a 50-year member of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).

He is survived by his significant other Dana White of Lamberton; daughter Amber McMoran Cashady (Jon) of Yankton, SD, son Joshua McMoran (Jamie) of St. Cloud, Tina McMoran Pantizke (Dan); grandchildren Matthew Pantizke and Hannah McMoran; and siblings Deborah, Candi and John. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Mac and Lois McMoran and brother Gary McMoran.
