It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacalyn "Jackie" Kay Weinberg on October 18, 2023, at the age of 60. Born on November 8, 1962, in Sleepy Eye, MN, she was the cherished daughter of Judy Johnson and Gary Johnson.
Jackie was a pillar of strength and selflessness, always putting others before herself. Her unwavering love and compassion touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. She faced adversity with grace and dignity, an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In her professional life, Jackie excelled as an accountant, diligently and meticulously managing numbers and finances for many years. Her dedication and attention to detail were unparalleled, earning her the respect and admiration of her colleagues.
Outside of her career, Jackie found solace in the beauty of nature. She appreciated the simplicity of a blooming flower, the tranquility of a babbling brook, and the serenity of a serene sunset. Nature was her sanctuary, a place where she could find peace and recharge her spirit.
Family was of utmost importance to Jackie. She treasured the time spent with her loved ones, creating lasting memories and cherishing every moment. Her husband, Keith Weinberg, was her rock and constant source of support. Her children, Holly Weinberg and Josh Weinberg (married to Danielle Nelson), brought immeasurable joy to her life. Her grandchildren, Levi Weinberg and KatiAnne Weinberg, were the apple of her eye, filling her heart with love and laughter. She also leaves behind her sister, Kimberly Pillatzki, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Jackie's educational journey took her to Lynd, MN for her primary schooling and Fargo, ND for high school. She furthered her studies at MN West in Jackson, where she honed her skills and expanded her knowledge.
Jacalyn Kay Weinberg, Jackie to those who knew her best, will be dearly missed but forever remembered. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched.
