Irene Weber

Irene Ella Metha (Koch) Weber was born March 4, 1923, to Ernest and Bertha (Wilstermann) Koch in Redwood County, Willow Lake Township rural Sanborn, MN. She was baptized April 8, 1923, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Willow Lake Township rural Sanborn. She was confirmed April 5, 1936, Zion Lutheran Church, Sanborn. She graduated from Sanborn Public High School in 1941. She married Raymond Weber November 4, 1942, at Zion Lutheran Church, Sanborn. She departed this life September 19, 2016, for her eternal heavenly home at the age of 93. She spent her entire lifetime in this community raising her family and helping others. She is survived by daughters Judy (John) Grummert of Coon Rapids and Joyce (Robert) Buffington of Edina, daughter-in-law Diana (Richard) Capaul of LeSeuer, sister Evelyn Ekstrand of Salt Lake City, Utah, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson, 3 sisters-in law, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, sons Roger and Dean, parents Ernest and Bertha Koch, sisters Edna Weber, Helen Ewert, Lillian Fridley, and brothers , Albert, Raymond, Marvin, and Walter Koch.
