Irene A. Schnurrer was born on May 9, 1913 in Pierz, MN the daughter of Math Mary (Otremba) Schnurrer. She grew up and attended school in Pierz. After her schooling, Irene married William Ludwig Weber on September 18, 1934 in Pierz. The couple moved to Sleepy Eye where Irene was a homemaker and also worked as a waitress and clerk. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. Irene enjoyed baking, gardening and reading and especially spending time with family and friends. Survivors include, sons, Melvin L. (Marge) Weber of Savage, MN and William R. (Marie) Weber of Chanhassen, MN, four grandchildren, Mark Weber and special friend Stacy Helget, Shelly Weber, Elizabeth (Mike) McKeever and Anthony Weber, five great-grandchildren, Toni-Ann Weber, Marcus Weber, Tyler McKeever, Alex McKeever and Kylyn Weber, sister, Leona (Bob) Johnson of St. Cloud and several nieces and nephews. Irene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William in 1992, infant brother Victor, brothers,William, Frank, and Reinhart Schnurrer and sisters, Adeline Brausen, Florence Szyszka, Cecila Becker, Eleanor Brausen and Marcellene Schnurrer.
