Irene Richert

Mrs. Richert was born in Sleepy Eye, MN on November 28, 1929, daughter of the late Norbert Agnes (Rubey) Schroepfer. She lived most of her life in Minnesota, moving to Cheshire, CT in 1967 where she and her husband raised their family. Irene and her husband lived in Mountainview, CA from 1985 to 1990. Upon the passing of her beloved husband, Irene moved to North Carolina where she lived from 1990 to 2002. She then returned to Connecticut in 2002 to spend time with her family. She was an avid bridge player, having been a member of the Bridge Club of Hendersonville, NC. She was also a member of the American Contract Bridge League. Mrs. Richert is survived by three daughters; Lynn M. Holtz and her husband Brad of Lorton, VA, Kim Gilcher and her husband Roy of Middlebury, CT and Bobbi Jean Lewis and her husband Martin of Farmington, CT, brother, Gerald E. Schroepfer and his wife Arlene of Sleepy Eye, MN, four grandchildren; Greta Gilcher, Elise Gilcher, Mitchell Lewis and Marty Lewis, three brothers-in-law, Roland Richert and his wife Lenore, Donald Richert and his wife Joan, Kenneth Richert and sister-in-law, Avona Bielen and her husband Ralph, all of Minnesota.
