Irene Ann Lynaugh

Irene Ann (Yerhart) Lynaugh was born to Emil and Gertrude (Florence) Yerhart on July 15, 1934 in Waterville, MN. Graduated from Waterville High School. She attended college at Mankato State University for Education. She worked at the Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital for more than 15 years and was a busy working mother to her three daughters. When Irene retired, she stayed busy as a caretaker to her loved ones. She was a caregiver for her mother, her brother and still found time and energy to dote on her grandchildren. Irene also enjoyed traveling, and was able to visit nearly every state in the country. Spending time with her family was what she loved to do the most. Irene was the last remaining member of her family, seeing all her siblings and her parents pass before her. Irene's daughters wish to express their gratitude to the staff at BridgeWater at Janesville and St. Croix Hospice for their excellent care of Irene during her final days. Irene Ann (Yerhart) Lynaugh age 88, of Janesville, MN, formerly of Madelia, MN, died on September 5, 2022, at the BridgeWater at Janesville. Irene is survived by her children, Victoria (Bryan) Zernechel of Janesville, Cynthia Lynaugh of Denver, CO and Gloria (Mike) Mikolai of Pemberton, MN; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Gertrude Yerhart; sisters, Agnes Brisbane, Helen Wagner, Marie (Steve) Ballard, Teresa (John) O'Leary; brothers, Edward Yerhart, Leonard Yerhart, George Yerhart, Eugene Yerhart and Joseph Yerhart.
