Inez Flogstad

Inez Flogstad, age 92, of St. James, died on Sunday, July 3, 2011, at Pleasant View Good Samaritan Center in St. James. Inez Emma Miller was born March 2, 1919, in St. James, MN, the daughter of James and Emma (Bonin) Miller. She attended St. James Public School. She married Paul Flogstad and they raised 4 children on their farm west of Godahl. She was an excellent cook and baker and loved to do it. Inez was a 48 year breast cancer survivor. She was a member of Ellingsburg-Zettel VFW Post 1914 Auxiliary and Albion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading and playing Bingo. Inez is survived by her children and their spouses, Robert Flogstad of St. James, Rachel (Dennis) Heise of Little Falls, Jane (David) Oldenburg of St. James, and Denise (Wynn) Hughes of New Ulm, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Irene Coffman of Kansas City, MO, and Susie Dove of San Antonio, TX, brothers-in-law, Marvin Flogstad of St. James, Clarence Hoffman of Kansas City, MO, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul in 1991, sister Ella Hoffman of Kansas City, MO, in May 2011.
