Idelle Elaine Schottle

Idelle E. Schottle was born on April 19, 1931, in near West Svedahl, MN the daughter of Lloyd and Minnie (Westman) Hultgren. She graduated from St. James High School. Idelle was united in marriage to Harold “Bucky” Schottle on September 8, 1948. Idelle raised her family with great significance in faith and church. She loved to cook and treasured her recipes. Getting the opportunity to play cards and visit with people was a great joy. Idelle and Bucky had many great family gatherings at the lake and enjoyed their trips to Arizona. She was an active member at Faith Lutheran Church and New Hope Lutheran Church in Comfrey.

Idelle died on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield at the age of 93.

She is survived by her son - Lanny (Liz) Schottle of Waconia, MN; a son-in-law - Doug Stark of Plainview, MN; grandchildren - Wendy Schottle of Richfield, MN, Michael (Lisa) Stark of Rochester, MN, Kristin (Matt) Wolff of Victoria, MN, Angela Schottle of Waconia, MN, Janelle Schottle of Bloomington, MN, and Alex (Claire) Stark of Rochester, MN; great grandchildren - Ben, Luke, Tyler, Zachary, Dylan, Ethan, Giselle, Jayden, Keira, and Jayceanna; and a sister-in-law - Leona Schottle of Sleepy Eye, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harold in 2012; her daughter - Debbie Stark in 2010; infant grandson - Eric, and a brother - Harland (Lois) Hultgren.
