Howard Quick

Howard William Quick was born on the family farm in rural St. James, the son of William Frieda (Froehling) Quick. Howard grow up in the St. James area and attended country school south of town. On September 4, 1954, Howard was united in marriage to Lois Faber. The couple made their home on the family farm where they raised their family. The couple continued to farm until their retirement. Howard served on the Rosendale Township Board for a number of years. They moved to town in 2004. Howard, in his retirement, worked as a school bus driver and jailer. He enjoyed spending time with friends at the pool hall and Curry's Caf. He enjoyed attending fish frys, the County Fair and tractor pulls. Howard is survived by his children, Rod Carol Quick of Little Canada, Deb Steve Shellum of Sartell, Sharon Jordan of St. Cloud, grandchildren, Amy Jordan, Terry Jordan, Tracy Shellum and Bill Quick, sister Millie Beck of St. James and brother, Roger Quick of St. James.
