Horace Hanson

Graveside Service: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 05, 2009 at Lakeview Cemetery in Windom, MN Horace Glen Sonny Hanson, the son of Harold and Margaret (Amundson) Hanson was born on October 6, 1933, in Christiana Township of Jackson County, MN. He received his education in the Windom and Mountain Lake, MN areas. Sonny was baptized at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Jackson County, and he was currently a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mountain Lake. He worked in maintenance for Sperry Univac in Jackson, MN for over 28 years, drove Medi-Van for nine years, and helped area farmers. He was always happy and a very dependable worker. Sonny enjoyed traveling with his camper. Due to failing health Sonny made several moves to recieve the care he needed, and on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 he died at the age of 75 years at the Sooge Memorial Good Samaritan Society in Windom, MN. Sonny is survived by several relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
