Herman Anderson

Herman Reinhard Anderson age 90, of Madelia, Minnesota died on December 4, 2023, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minnesota.

A private graveside service will take place at Faith Lutheran Cemetery in Madelia.

Herman Reinhard Anderson was born to Reinhard and Mary Anderson on June 12, 1933.  He was a student at country school, but farming was what he enjoyed most.  However, the army called and Herman was sent to school at Fort Belvoir and from there was sent to Schwetzingen, Germany as a parts specialist at Tompkins Barracks.  Herman served on several boards, the longest on the Town Board and the Hanska Co-op.

Herman is survived by his wife, Betty Anderson and daughter, Kim Anderson.  He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Joel Anderson, born in Germany, and his 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
